Dr Said Yasseri

Said Yasseri, PhD, is the Founder and Senior Scientist at Limnological Solutions International (LSI), a limnological consultancy specialising in the assessment and restoration of eutrophic lakes and reservoirs. Prior to founding LSI, Said was the Senior Hydrobiologist and the Head of the Department of Lake Restoration at the Institute Dr Nowak in Northern Germany where he completed more than 50 lake restoration projects.

Prior to joining IDN, Said held a variety of positions, including as Head of the Science Department at the UNA Laboratories for the Environmental and Natural Compound Analysis and as a Researcher at the Ocean Microbiological Research Department of the Alfred Wegener Institute (AWI) on Helgoland off the North German Coast.

He has also acted as a Consultant to the German State Environment Agency on projects relating to the chemical, toxicological and biological impacts of chemical compounds in soil and water.
